why complicate things

cycle 2 with 35/15 cycle 3 with 45/25

Interesting how far crossFit has come. I did my first Crossfit wod on a track with a friend. It consisted of running and body weight excercises. I was completely gassed. Done! and I couldn't wait to do something crazy like that again! There were burpees, squats, pushups, situps, and sprints that made me want to puke. As fast as you could do it. I was in the worst shape of my life. But I couldn't wait to do it again. I really didn't care if it was the same workout. I wanted to see if I could do it faster. The MORE important factor was doing it with my friend who invited me. We were just guys that wanted to do something active. We suffered together and cheered each other on. There was no bragging about who did better. it was an encouragement to finish what we started. high fives then see ya next time.

Now we have the games, elite athletes that wod, demo videos, top notch gyms, Fran times, Pr's, coaches, physical therapists, Crossfit clothes and whatever else you can't think of.

With that thought in mind, my encouragement and challenge to us at CFL is to embrace and enjoy the challenge. RX can be a guide, but do what you can. Have fun just killin it with your buds. Enjoy the week! Don't complicate things.
